My husband and I were in our 40s raising three teenaged boys when I started feeling tired and run down. I went to see my doctor and found out I was very unexpectedly pregnant. To put it mildly, we were stunned. At 12 weeks they did some genetic testing and found out we were having a girl and that she would be born with Down Syndrome. We were counseled that it might be best to have an abortion. I remembered hearing you say that, when telling your five-year-old son about abortion he asked, "You mean they kill a perfectly good baby?"
