When Mom’s Not Available, Thank Goodness for “Mrs. D.”
A rare silver lining when it comes to daycare.
I took a call from a young man asking me about preschool for his little two-year-old. I told him that crappy, uninvolved, negligent, disinterested parents send their kids to preschool instead of raising them. The first five years are especially significant for children to be at home with their very own mommy or daddy where they can be influenced, by the family’s values, where they can learn, be loved up and down and feel safe and securely loved. Kids just don’t get that in preschool or daycare.
