Dear Dr. Laura, I’m writing in response to a call you took with the grandmother of a toddler who refused to potty train. As a stay-at-home mom, I began potty training my son at around 18 months with no success. By the time he was three and a half, I was growing very frustrated. That’s when I realized this was more about control.
