Dr. Laura: In 2019, I was a telephone line installer, and on the day I nearly died, I pulled my truck over to a telephone pole with a plan to hang myself. What saved me was a stranger who stopped to help. I yelled at them. And then I completely broke down crying. That interruption, that one small human moment, is the reason I am here writing to you today.
